Zusammenfassung: | Thermodynamic calculations are a promising and convenient numerical approach, for simulating the equilibrium phase compositions in metallic materials, especially in steels. The present investigation aims at the modelling the stable phase composition in two low alloyed steels with the carbon content of 0.34 and 0.44 wt.%. The presence of M7C3, Fe3C M6C, M3C2 and MC carbides was predicted at different temperatures. The electron back scattering diffraction analysis show that the austenization at 900°C allows to obtain fully austenitic structure and following water quenching results in the lath martensitic structure in the steels. |
