Zusammenfassung: | Study of fatigue life of commercially pure A5M aluminum and VT1-0 titanium in a constant magnetic field has been carried out. As a result of the research, it has been found that application of constant magnetic field of various induction leads to an increase in number of cycles before destruction. For A5M aluminum, nonmonotonic nature of change in fatigue life has been established depending on the modes of magnetic action. For VT1-0 titanium, it has been shown that at magnetic field inductions of 0.1T and 0.2T, material does not experience any changes associated with an increase or decrease in number of cycles to failure. With magnetic field induction of 0.3-0.5 T, a linear increase in number of cycles to destruction is observed. An analysis of fracture surface of titanium and aluminum samples has shown that fracture proceeds by a mixed mechanism. Structure shows areas of ductile fracture and signs of plastic deformation. |
