Inhibitory activity of volatile oil extracted from seeds of anise plant after treatment with Spirulina extract towards some bacteria isolated from burns and wounds

The current study included 180 isolates of pathogenic bacteria isolated from burns and wounds and diagnosed using Ap20, STA20, Vitek 2 Compact system, and P.C.R technology. Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli K.pneumoniae, and Pseudomonas mirabilis are among genera. It wa...

Zusammenfassung:The current study included 180 isolates of pathogenic bacteria isolated from burns and wounds and diagnosed using Ap20, STA20, Vitek 2 Compact system, and P.C.R technology. Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli K.pneumoniae, and Pseudomonas mirabilis are among genera. It was cultured on MacConkey's blood agar medium and identified. This study also included the collection of anise seeds after foliar spray treatment with Spirulina extract, addition to the soil, and interaction between them. The effectiveness and effect of the extracted volatile oil after treatment with Spirulina extract, as well as methods of its addition and interaction, in inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria by digging method on MullerHinton medium with three replications for each treatment, were tested. 0.05 represents a significant difference
