Zusammenfassung:The emotional intelligence of civil servants and working from home in the COVID-19 pandemic scenario are the key topics of this study. This study was specifically designed to look at how the emotional intelligence domains affect the ability of Malaysian government employees to work remotely. There were 2268 respondents in total from the academic and non-academic staff. The researcher’s tool, the Domain Emotional Intelligence Inventory of COVID-19 Challenges (DEInv-CvdC), underwent instrument and validation process before being used in the measurements. The Work from Home Questionnaire of COVID-19 Challenges is the second instrument (WFHQue-CvdC). This study used regression analysis to examine how the dependent variable has been affected by the domains of emotional intelligence. The results demonstrate that all four have a considerable impact. The results indicate the existence of a significant effect in all four domains of emotional intelligence on how employees perceive being able to work from home.
