Zusammenfassung:Plasma spraying coatings onto ceramic materials is used to solve a variety of technical problems. The plasma arc method allows for the production of thermal barrier and wear-resistant coatings made of oxides and carbides with thicknesses ranging from 100 to 300 microns, on surfaces with complex reliefs. The operational characteristics of the resulting products depend on the physico-chemical processes in the “ceramic substrate-coating” pair that occur during plasma spraying. In this study, plasma arc sprayed coatings of Al 2 O 3 onto ceramic materials with high Si content (~39 wt %) were selected as the object of investigation.
