Zusammenfassung:In this paper, a multipolarization coding metasurface (MCMS) has been proposed to realize transmissive linear polarized and left-hand circularly polarized beam conversion and beam focusing in the millimeter-wave band. The phase of the transmissive wave is manipulated by the phase-rotation unit cell (PRUC), which is comprised of a double triangular patch with defects on one side edge, providing a phase shift covering 360° in the operating band. The design of the metasurface is based on the PRUC with the Pancharatnam-Berry (PB) phase, which allows the phase of circularly polarized electromagnetic waves to be controlled. The proposed PRUC exhibits good performance in converting the linearly polarized (LP) wave to the right-handed circularly polarized (RHCP) wave and the left-handed circularly polarized (LHCP) wave to the RHCP wave in the wideband frequency range. To verify the validity of the MCMS, prototypes are fabricated using conventional printed-circuit board technology. The measured results are in good agreement with the simulated ones, revealing the potential for multipolarization manipulation in the field of satellite communications (SATCOM).
