Zusammenfassung: | Phase change material in heat pipes can be used to overcome the problem of heat storage and electronic cooling in a different application. In this work, earlier relevant literature has been reviewed which focuses on the application of heat pipe. with PCM. The PCM storage tank is mounted on the heat pipe’s adiabatic section. PCM storage tank absorbed and release heat which is dependent upon input power value at the evaporator and that of the speed of the fan at the condenser. The phase change materials used are (sodium nitrate, paraffin wax, Tricosane, aqua ammonia, n-Octadecane)and the heat pipe used is (circular heat pipe, Variable conductance heat pipe, Thermosyphon heat pipe, oscillating heat pipe, Plate based heat pipe ). In the present work, the performance of the heat pipe is studied and investigated for efficiency enhancement. The temperature at the evaporator is decreased when nano-enhanced PCM is used, which helps to reduce work at the condenser section. |
