A doubly fitted finite difference method for singularly perturbed problems
We propose a new parameter-uniform scheme that capitalises on the layer resolving property of the fitted mesh finite difference methods and the higher nodal accuracy of the fitted operator finite difference methods. We refer to this new scheme as the doubly fitted finite difference method.
