Zusammenfassung: | This paper furnishes the design of a compact Ultra-Wideband (UWB) circular polarized (CP) Filtering antenna (or filtenna) for WLAN applications. Rogers RO4003C substrate with the thickness of 0.813mm and εr of 3.55 is used to design the proposed antenna and it is simulated in CST Microwave Studio. The an tenn a has a wide band response from 2 t o 5.8 GHz and the introduction of filter near the feed l in e of antenna yields a narrow ban d with center frequency 2.4 GHz. T he filter is integrated with the patch to attain the required result. The proposed filtering antenna has a gain of 3 dBi in the entire operating band. The dimension of the proposed structure is 75 mm X 60 mm and is thus more suitable for wireless applications. |
