Zusammenfassung: | This study presents two modifications of a technique for modeling the dependence of active power losses in plunger core arc suppression coils. The focus is on the relationship between the voltage applied to the compensation windings and the current flowing through them. The first modification relies on data extracted from technical data sheets and acceptance test protocols of the reactors. The second modification was developed considering the limited initial information provided in the product catalogs of the manufacturers of these reactors. This paper evaluates the level of discrepancy between the results obtained from the second method and the results derived from the first method, which provides a good approximation of the actual values of active power losses. |
