Zusammenfassung:Issues of determining losses in the magnetic system of a high-speed 8/6 switched reluctance generator are considered. The magnetic circuit of the generator is made of 20HX1300 sheet electrical steel with a thickness of 0.2 mm. The field-reversal frequency is 1200 Hz. Losses are calculated on the basis of distribution of the magnetic field in the stator and rotor magnetic circuits. The generalized Steinmetz formula is used, which makes it possible to take into account the nonsinusoidal nature and the constant component of the magnetic induction in the magnetic-system elements. As an example, the calculation of losses in a high-speed switched reluctance generator with a power of 50 kW and a nominal speed of 12 000 rpm is performed. The results from the analysis of the loss distribution in separate elements of the magnetic system are presented.
