Zusammenfassung: | A comparison was made between students’ mathematical adaptive reasoning abilities and their ability to collaborate on problem-solving and learn through expository learning. The quantitative approach was combined with an experimental approach in the research. The students in the seventh-grade junior high school class are the subjects of this study. The sample is collected with the intent of determining its quality. The number of students who participated in this study totaled 52. The normality and homogeneity tests, as well as the t-test, were used to analyze the data. The findings reveal that students who learn through collaborative problem-solving methods perform significantly better in adaptive mathematical reasoning than those who learn through expository learning methods. Because collaborative problem-solving learning was used in the experiment, the average score of mathematical adaptive reasoning ability in the experimental class was 87.55, higher than the average score of mathematical adaptive reasoning ability in the control class, which was 80.25 using expository learning. |
