Zusammenfassung: | In the era of modernization, e-learning has been introduced to the education system, not only in Malaysia but across the global and there were variety of online presentation applications available on the Internet. Before the online presentation applications ever existed, people mostly used Microsoft PowerPoint to perform presentation. The online presentation application is part of e-learning aims to further enhance the quality of teaching and learning sessions are not only used in the education field but are used by industries, business and others to render project presentations. However, there are some issues in online presentations use such as difficulty in understanding the design applied in it cause the motivation of an individual to be low. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out students’ perceptions about the application of online presentation and relationship between students’ knowledge, motivation and self-learning level using the online presentation application during their learning process. Questionnaire has been distributed to 50 students that enrol in the Welding and Metal Fabrication course in Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. Data were collected and been analysed using the Statistical Package for Social Science version 22.0 through descriptive statistical methods. Based on the analysis, the results showed that the students’ perception on online presentation application during their learning process practice was at a high level, with the students’ perceptions of knowledge on online presentation application interface design (M = 4.48; SD = 0.70), students’ level of motivation in using the online presentation application (M = 4.47; SD = 0.69) and students’ level of self-learning in using online presentation applications (M = 4.36; SD = 0.73). Beside, there is a weak positive relationship between students’ knowledge and motivation level using the online presentation application, r(48) = .271, p = .449. In spite of that, there is a fair negative relationship between students’ knowledge and self-learning level using the online presentation application, r(48) = -.413 p = .235. Finally, there is a weak positive relationship between motivation and self-learning level using the online presentation application, r = .259, p = .469.
