Zusammenfassung:Occupational health and safety aspects need to be considered in the world of education, Bali State Polytechnic which is one of the vocational colleges where in the application of learning emphasizes practice more than theory, where learning practices are carried out in workshops or laboratories and carry out many practical activities using machines, where it really needs awareness and motivation of occupational safety and health in learning. The application of occupational safety and health is very important so that work accidents do not occur and students can better understand the importance of occupational safety and health in the work environment. The purpose of this study was to identify occupational safety and health risks in woodworking practice civilian workshops and to find out students’ perceptions of the application of occupational safety and health in civil engineering workshop, through brainstorming and interviews using questionnaires to parties involved in handling occupational safety and health and conduct an assessment of the identified risks so as to get the dominant risks (major risk), which is then taken mitigation steps to reduce risks and assess students’ perceptions of the application of occupational safety and health in civil engineering workshop, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research shows that there are 25 risks and 4 dominant risks that need to be mitigated and there is a significant influence between student perceptions and the application of occupational safety and health, seen from a significant value of 0.000
