Zusammenfassung:The article studies the fluid motion at the input section of the collector. The aim of this work is to determine the relationship of the coefficient of discharge with the Froude numbers, the Reynolds numbers, flow velocity, specific energy of the cross section, degree of narrowing of the flow, as well as comparison of the results obtained with European and Russian design standards. The relevance of the topic is related to the need to clarify the operation of the collector system. The experiment was based on modeling of the input section of collector using the Parshall flume. The calculation of fluid motion at various flow discharge is given. The article also shows the influence of energy parameters on the discharge coefficients. The discharge coefficients are determined based on experimental results and calculations according to European and Russian standards. Analysis of the calculation showed that the calculation according to Russian standards has the lowest percentage of discrepancy. This is due to a more accurate consideration of the geometric characteristics of the flow.
