Community involvement in tourism activity toward the socialization of Dewi Sakti application to face corona pandemic in Sambirejo, Bringin, Semarang Regency

Dewi Sakti (Integrated technology-based Sambirejo tourist village) application is one of the applications going to be built by the Village Development and Empowerment Holistic Program (PHP2D) of Student Executive Board Diponegoro University 2021 to face the effect of corona pandemic in tourism with the case study in Sambirejo village, Bringin district, Semarang regency. This research aims to determine the level of community involvement in tourism activity toward the socialization of the Dewi Sakti application. This research uses a qualitative approach with 50 respondents involved in this research. All of the respondents are members of Sarwo Mulyo Tourism Awareness Group (PokDarWis) and the Sambirejo Village Government. Direct Participant Observation was used in between Dewi Sakti application socializations to examine the changes in community involvement toward the socialization of Dewi Sakti application. The result of this research showed that there was an improvement from 0% community involvement to 48% based on the community involvement during the meeting and development of the tourism site. The conclusion of this research is the community is willing to adapt and use a new innovation as long as there is someone to empower and guide them.
