Zusammenfassung:Family support and level of knowledge can have a positive impact on compliance with care management in DM patients. Patients who get family support tend to be easier to change their behavior towards being healthier than patients who do not get support. Measurement of quality of life is multidimensional which includes physical, psychological, social, environmental, and quality of life functions in general. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors of family support with the quality of life of diabetes mellitus patients. The study was cross-sectional. 223 patients with diabetes mellitus were selected by total sampling. Data were analyzed by the Multiple Logistics Regression test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between informational support and the quality of life of diabetes mellitus patients (p=0.003). There was a significant relationship between assessment support and quality of life of patients with diabetes mellitus (p=0.002). There was a significant relationship between instrumental support and the quality of life of patients with diabetes mellitus (0.002). There was a significant relationship between emotional support and the quality of life of diabetes mellitus patients (p=0.003). The most dominant factor in family support for quality of life is the assessment support factor and instrumental support.
