Zusammenfassung: | The introduction of promising turbojet engines based on a standardized gas generator in Russian aircraft-engine production is discussed. A standardized competitive product line of aircraft engines with thrust between 8 and 35 t is proposed. In marketing terms, these engines should meet all possible needs of Russian aircraft manufacturers. The basic design and production principles for Russian gas-turbine engines in aviation are considered. The benefits of the breakthrough technologies employed at the enterprises of the United Engine Corporation (UEC) in comparison with their main counterparts are outlined. The use of turbojet engines based on a standard gas generator is proposed not only for aircraft but as part of electrical generators and gas-pumping systems on the ground. |
