Zusammenfassung: | By means of single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, vibrational, optical, photoluminescence, and thermal examination, a novel crystal of 2-amino-3-picolinium arsenate has been produced and described. The developed crystal crystallized in triclinic crystal system with centrosymmetric space group P-1 was confirmed by single-crystal XRD investigation. The lattice parameters are calculated as follows:
a
= 7.28 Å,
b
= 8.15 Å,
c
= 8.46 Å, α = 76.98°, β = 79.27°, γ = 88.30°, and volume of the unit cell
V
= 480.51 (Å)

. The 2-amino 3-picolinum cations and arsenate anions are present in the molecular structure, according to the FT-IR and FT-Raman spectrum studies. The hydrogen and carbon molecular environment are present in the chemical, according to the proton and carbon NMR spectrum. UV–Vis spectral and photoluminescence analysis have been performed to study optical characteristics of the grown crystal. DSC analysis was used to measure heat flow as a function of temperature. Crystal explorer software was used to calculate the Hirshfeld surface, and the 2D finger plot provides insight into the overall packing characteristics of the developed molecule. |
