Zusammenfassung: | This research was conducted to determine the optimal performance of the otto engine using a mixture of Pertamax and bioethanol fuel and to determine the exhaust emissions from each type of fuel used. The parameters used for the performance value of the Otto engine are torque, power, and air-fuel ratio. The Otto engine used in this study is one cylinder with 150 ccs used by the 2018 Honda CRF 150L with fuel variations, namely Pertamax, Pertamax E5, Pertamax E10, and Pertamax E15. From the calculation results of the test data, the average heating value of the fuel is 42647.1 kJ/kg (Pertamax), 42794.1 kJ/kg (Pertamax E5), 48970.6 kJ/kg (Pertamax E10), and 50441. 2 kJ/kg (E15). The maximum torque obtained from the dyno test results is 15.0 Nm at 5000 rpm using Pertamax E5. The maximum power received from the dyno test results is 9.7 kW at 7000 rpm using Pertamax E15. The maximum air-fuel ratio obtained from this test is 20.295 using Pertamax E15 fuel at 3000 pm. The maximum value of Carbon Monoxide (CO) in Pertamax E15 is 939 ppm. For Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) levels, the maximum value in Pertamax E10 fuel is 20 ppm. For Combustible Gas (EX) levels, the maximum value for Pertamax E10 and Pertamax E15 is 6% LEL. For oxygen content (O2), the maximum value in Pertamax is 20.9 %vol. |
