Zusammenfassung:In this paper, the authors present a Radio Access Network (RAN) concept for future mobile communication systems beyond 5G. The concept is based on knowledge of the environment. The three conceptual applications RAN authentication, beam steering, and channel estimation are presented and their added value with respect to 6G development goals is outlined. The concept is explained by means of an intralogistic use case of a fully automated warehouse. Based on this, the concrete steps for implementation in a laboratory setup are described and further research steps are shown.
