Zusammenfassung:We have studied the dependence of acoustic emission parameters under quasi-static compression and the shock-wave sensitivity characteristics of parts made of plastic-bonded HMX on filler particle size. The dependence of acoustic emission parameters on HMX particle size was used to describe different possible scenarios of the structural degradation of the shocked explosive, which are considered as the cause of the difference in shock-wave sensitivity.
