Inferior glenohumeral dislocation (luxatio erecta humeri), report of two cases

Inferior shoulder dislocation (luxatio erecta humeri) is a rare form of shoulder dislocation. Two cases of this rare condition are reported, a review of management is presented. It is emphasized that heightened awareness for this injury is necessary because lesion are rare and few physicians are familiar with the condition.
