Zusammenfassung: | In the present work, silver tungstate nanorods decorated carbon nanotubes (α-Ag2WO4/MWCNTs) composite were synthesized with α-Ag2WO4 nanorods crystalline structure loading onto MWCNTs support. The obtained α-Ag2WO4/MWCNTs composites were characterized using different characterization methods (XRD, FESEM, EDX and BET). The adsorption capabilities of the synthesized α-Ag2WO4/MWCNTs composite along with its constituents (pure α-Ag2WO4 nanorods and MWCNTs) were investigated for malachite green dye (MG) removal from wastewater media. The outcomes showed that the adsorptive removal over α-Ag2WO4/MWCNTs composite was fast (98.8% of 20 ppm MG dye) take place after 15 min, while were 77.4% and 67.3% for pure α-Ag2WO4 and pure MWCNTs respectively. Also, different adsorption variables (dye concentration, solution pH and adsorber dose) were considered, and the results were examined using several adsorption kinetics and isotherms. |
