Zusammenfassung: | Mobile communication is one of the most evolving fields. It is developing very rapidly with the emergence of advanced technologies in all areas of mobile and wireless communication. Handover is a fundamental mechanism of mobile communication. It ensures the continuity of communication when passing from one base station to another. To do this, it will be at the level of the construction of the handover algorithm. This article first presents an overview of the types of handover. We move on to describe the architecture and the handover types for LTE. Then a study of the different LTE handover algorithms. Finally, a comparison between the existing handover algorithms for LTE. |
