Zusammenfassung:With the goal of identifying by-products in the cyanation of an imidate donor with trimethylsilyl cyanide, the main compounds formed in the sulfuric acid-, p -toluenesulfonic acid-, camphor-10-sulfonic acid-, and pyridinium p -toluenesulfonate-catalyzed acetonation of D-ribose were isolated and characterized by spectral methods, including 2D NMR techniques and high-resolution mass spectrometry.
