Zusammenfassung: | The seal is endemic to Lake Baikal and the study of its morphological data is relevant for the timely diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases that have not been sufficiently studied in these mammals. The object of the study was the Baikal seal, the material was the lymph nodes. Mandibular lymph nodes are grouped by 3-4 pieces in the region of the angle of the lower jaw. They are of different shapes: round, oval and in the form of a triangle, they are asymmetric, have a color from burgundy to pink. The cervical lymph nodes are located under the brachiocephalic muscle and on the border between the cervical part of the trapezius and brachiocephalic muscles. Lymph nodes are round and oval, convex, pale gray in color. The axillary lymph nodes are located next to the aponeurosis pedicle, covered by a powerful pectoral muscle. They are the largest, regular oval, pink. The iliac-femoral lymph nodes are located at the external tubercle of the ilium between the gluteal extensor group and the longest muscle of the lower back. As well as the axillary lymph nodes are round and oval in shape, but flatter, gray-yellow in color. Morphometric indicators change with age: the length and thickness of the lymph nodes increase slightly by 1.2 times, in width and weight - by 2.3 times. |
