Zusammenfassung:A new eudesmanolide, macrocephalolide I ( 1 ), along with 11 known compounds 2–12 , were isolated from the whole plant of Artemisia macrocephala. Their structures were elucidated by HR-ESI-MS, NMR, and ECD calculations. Compound 1 was tested for anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor activities, without obvious potentials unfortunately. Compounds 2–12 were isolated firstly from Artemisia macrocephala , wherein 8 , 11 were isolated from Artemisia genus for the first time.
