Zusammenfassung: | The present study aimed to evaluate effects of aging on tensile strength of FRP composite. A hybrid composite is FRP composite that includes any foreign materials. This research aims comparison of tensile strength after more than 1-year manufacturing of GFRP and hybrid composite. The hybrid composite used in this research is generally a GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic) composite which includes a plain weave copper strips mesh which is placed in between the many layers of fiberglass. Both GFRP and hybrid composite were fabricated using CSM fiberglass as reinforcement at 20%. Matrix material was epoxy resin LY556 used. There is a single test is performed on both type of GFRP and hybrid composite which is a tensile strength test with an interval of more than one year. |
