Zusammenfassung: | Bio-synthesis of nanoparticles with plant extract is environment-friendly, biocompatible, non-toxic in the field of nanotechnology and effective for biomedical application. In the current work, we report that silvernanoparticles were synthesized with Trigonella Foenum-Graecum (TFG) by the bio-synthesis method. Nanosilver inherits many of the properties such as high electrical and heat conductivity. In addition, it can effectively control the growth of over 650 species of bacteria, fungi, and algae by releasing silver ions. Nanosilver is not an allergen, when the size of a silver nanoparticle is below a few nanometers it becomes fluorescent, due to these properties enable us to use nanosilver in the household, medical, hygiene products as well as in electronics, textiles, solar cells, water filters, and various other areas. Trigonella foenum-graecum (TFG) is a fascinating herb with different uses and various effective health benefits. It contains a fine amount of fiber, minerals including iron and magnesium. Fenugreek used due to possession of phytochemicals such as alkaloids and polyphenols which is used as a reducing agent in current synthesis. The change in bandgap with size-quantization was investigated by Ultraviolet-visible absorption spectroscopy. The functional groups were analyzed by the Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) and Raman spectroscopy for rotational and other low-frequency modes of systems. The X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) confirms the face-centered cubic structure with average crystallite size 54nm. FE-SEM shows the morphology of the sample to be irregularly shaped. Using Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) elements in the obtained sample was analyzed. Antibacterial studies were carried in order to understand the bioactivity of the prepared sample. |
