Zusammenfassung:This study aims to determine the status of food security and food security strategies for Bajo fishersin realizing food security during the COVID 19 pandemic. The sample number in this study was 42 Bajo fishermen in Wangi - Wangi District, which was determined by the simple random sampling method. The data analysis used is descriptive qualitative with an approaching Household Food Security Survey Module developed by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and food coping analysis. The food security status of Bajo fishersduring the pandemic was 88,1% food insecure and 11,9% food insecure. The strategy of Bajo fishersin realizing food security is food coping, which consists of strategies related to food availability by reducing food consumption by 76,2%, buying food on credit 59,5%, eating potluck 71,4%, doing side work 14,3% and reducing cigarette consumption by 66,7%.
