Zusammenfassung: | The aim of this study was to determine the diversity of soil surface arthropods in the karst areas of Central Buton Regency. The research location consist of three stations, station I is the land that rested for 20 years, station II is the land that rested for 10 years and station III is the land that currently being cultivated. The research type is exploratif, sampling was done using the litter collection methods. Each station consists of 2 transects with quadrant plots measuring 25 x 25 cm, so that each transect consisted of 6 litter quadrant plots. The number of quadrant plots for each station is 12 litter quadrants plot, a total of 36 monoliths (3 treatments x 12 replications) were taken across all statition. To evaluate the community seven patameter were measured: Shannon-Wiener index (H`), Pielou’s measure of evenness, Magdalef’s diversity index (d), Number of occurrence index (NOI), Relative abundance and Density. The soil surface arthropods that were found consisted of 2 class, 6 order, 18 families and 20 species (438 individual). Each at station I as many as 17 species (180 individuals), station II as many as 14 species (137 individuals) and station III as many as 12 species (121 individuals). |
