Zusammenfassung:Renewable energy comes from natural processes and is likely to never run out. The development of renewable energy is being promoted through government policies to encourage and facilitate the use of renewable energy sources. In addition, it is also expected to be able to overcome the crisis of energy sources and global warming caused by the use of fossil energy sources. Indonesia is a solar surplus area, so solar energy is believed to be very potential to be developed. In this case, solar energy is a renewable energy alternative that can be a solution to replace fossil energy. In addition, solar energy is also a clean energy source that has minimal negative impact on the environment. Residential settlements in Indonesia, especially on the roofs of houses generally use zinc roofs. The heat received on the roof of the house can reach more than 52°. utilization of high temperatures can be converted into electricity with thermoelectric generator technology. A thermoelectric generator utilizes temperature differences to produce electrical energy. In this thermoelectric generator system, heat is used from the sun which is conducted by 4 pieces of thermoelectric type TEG SP1848-2745 SA which are arranged in single, series and parallel circuit variations. The use of different circuits affects the resulting output. The highest measurement is produced by the series circuit at a temperature of 31°C with an output of 0.079V.
