Zusammenfassung: | In this work, we analyze approaches to increasing the accuracy of moisture measurements in bulk materials (grain and grain products) by meters equipped with different moisture transducers. A capacitive moisture transducer with cylindrical electrodes that implements an additive-logometric scheme of temperature error correction was developed. This scheme can also be used in capacitive transducers with noncylindrical electrodes. The dependence of the transducer reactance on its capacitance when used for measuring the moisture content of bulk materials was obtained experimentally. It is shown that, under a moisture transducer capacitance of 2 pF, its reactance decreases sharply. A further increase in the capacitance leads to a smooth decrease in the reactance. The obtained dependence of the sensitivity of a capacitive moisture transducer with cylindrical electrodes on its reactance showed that the device sensitivity decreases with an increase in its reactance. The maximum sensitivity of the capacitive transducer under study is achieved at a reactance of 0.5∙10

Ω, which corresponds to the maximum value of the transducer capacitance. The obtained results can be applied when designing the basic elements of moisture transducers with cylindrical electrodes as part of meters for measuring moisture content in grain and grain products. |
