Zusammenfassung: | The central objective of this article is to present a focused and simplified review regarding utilization of different in-organic host materials, their composition, with regard to various applications of white light emitting diodes (w-LEDs). Extremely outstanding and flexible properties of inorganic host materials are of utmost importance for the research community in the present times. Through this compact review we aim to provide a platform to new researchers regarding key developments in w-LEDs. A firsthand information and in-principle, the application part by considering various host materials is summarized. The applications of w-LEDs with respect to different host materials like nitride/oxy-nitrides, aluminates, sulphides phosphor and silicates are discussed. |
