Zusammenfassung: | The goal of this research was to develop and analyze the loading on various materials for motorcycle wheel rim strength. Recently, the interest in synthetic fiber-reinforced composites has increased dramatically. Consumer demand has also compelled the industrial industry to seek out products that are more compatible with traditional materials, such as bagasse fibres. This gave industry time to search for different natural materials to experiment with. The method used is to use CATIA V5 software to design the wheel, with loading simulation analysis performed in ANSYS Workbench with different materials. Almost all of the material rim models that were analyzed for static structural analysis showed substantial improvement, according to the findings. Except the rim of bagasse fibre showed deformation greater than the other materials and while other simulations came very close to that of aluminium alloy. |
