Zusammenfassung:In the context of increasingly obvious impacts of climate change, the agriculture industry, which is traditionally considered a dependent profession on nature, has exerted changes to adapt to new farming conditions. With the application of scientific technology in production lines, Smart Agriculture has gradually replaced traditional model, especially in urban areas with increasingly narrow arable land. Currently, agriculture in the form of so-called "smart" has solidified its leading position in the agricultural industry in particular as well as multi-sectoral linkages between agriculture and other industries in general, thereby forming new business farming models such as Hi-tech Agriculture, Spatial-oriented Agriculture, "village in urban" Agriculture. Based on these models, Smart Agriculture is creeping into every conrner, on different form and scale, of urban agriculture and bringing benefits in many aspects: economic, social, and environmental. With great advantages on the wide discourse, Smart Agriculture has increasingly been introduced and applied in cities around the world. In Vietnam, a developing country with a large share of agriculture in GDP, Smart Agriculture has also appeared in many different forms and scales. However, as legislators and planners often do not participate in agricultural production activities and ignore the problems related to urban food systems, Smart Agriculture still maintains in its mechanics many problems, to involve in part of the urban development process.
