Zusammenfassung: | The effect of introducing nanoparticles to a base fluid (Water) on flow characteristics in a car radiator is explored analytically in this work. Radiators are small heat exchangers that have been modified and analysed under various working situations. The cooling system of a vehicle plays a crucial role in its effectiveness and is made up of two basic elements: the radiator and the fan. Enhancing a vehicle's thermal efficiency improves its output, lowers its fuel usage, and reduces environmental impact. In the present study, the effect of addition of Aluminum Oxide (Al2O3), Silicon (SiO2) Oxide, and Copper Oxide (CuO) on flow parameters like pressure, temperature, velocity and heat transfer is analyzed by the use of a CFD model. The results are presented for 0.4, 0.5, and 0.6 volume fractions of nano fluids. |
