Zusammenfassung:The design, assembly, and flow analysis of a chord-wise morphing wing for an aeroplane are detailed in this paper. Chord wise morphing has recently been demonstrated to be extremely effective in preventing stalls and increasing the aircraft's maximum gross weight, altitude, and speed capabilities. The chord of a chosen airfoil NACA0015 is to be extended to perform the morphing. The airfoil selected for the morphing wing is NACA0015.The screw extension mechanism with actuation motor is used to extend the chord. The wing parts are fabricated /printed using 3D printer. The mechanism is found to be active and imparts chord wise morphing effectively. The chord length of the wing before the morphing is 400mm and after the morphing is 440mm.The flow analysis on the wing shows that there is no flow separation at the given angles of attack.
