Zusammenfassung:BACKGROUND: Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease with multifactorial aetiology.Patients with OA knee most commonly complain of knee instability during activities of daily living. A survey conducted in India in 2007 revealed the OA prevalence rate of 32.6% in rural and 60.3% in urban population .very few studies are on arthritic knees.Previous study show that Agility and Perturbation training technique shown that better improvement in knee stability for patients with ligament injuries and they might also be beneficial for Osteoarthritis knee patients. So the need of this study was to find effect of modified Agility and Perturbation training in Osteoarthritis knee Objective:To compare the effect of modified Agility training with Perturbation training in Osteoarthritis knee. Materials And Methodology: The study was conducted at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Deemed to be University Karad, In Physiotherapy Department. In this study 60 Patients were selected 40 -55 age group. Subjects as per inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected.Group A(30) Patients wastreated with Conventional Physiotherapy treatment and Group B treated with Modified Agility and Perturbation training and Conventional Physiotherapy treatment. The Osteoarthritis patients were then asked to perform the exercises 3 times per week total duration of session is 3 weeks. Statistical analysis was done using the paired t -test. Result: Statistical analysis was done by using paired t-test. The results of this study showed that group B extremely significant improvement than group A. Conclusion: Thus, this study concludes that In this study, Based on the statistical analysis ,presentation and interpretations it was concluded that modified Agility and Perturbation training in Osteoarthritis knee has shown extremely significant improvement clinically and statistically on VAS,WOMAC and Timed up and go test thus facilitating functional outcome.
