Zusammenfassung: | As per WHO (1), kids falling between the age of 11-19 years are referred to as Adolescents. Anxiety, Stress (academic), Depression, and Behavioural disorders are common to occur during this phase. This work has been done to review stress among school going adolescents between developing and developed countries. Medline PubMed, Journals of Psychology, WHO, Google Scholar, and Dictionary.com have been referred to carry out this research. Keywords like stress, academic, adolescents, mental health, depression, USA, Canada, India have been used. Different studies used different stress scales to measure the degree of stress as mild, moderate to severe for e.g., Student Stress Rating Scale (2), Student Stress Scale (3), Academic Stress Scale. After reviewing all the papers published,it has been concluded by the author's that stress, depression, and mental health disorders are common in school going adolescents in both the developing and developed world. Some strategies and events are also designed to curb the occurrence of stress among school going adolescents. |
