Zusammenfassung:An axisymmetric incompressible flow past Rankine’s half-body of revolution is investigated at high Reynolds numbers. It is established that the solution of the problem for the system of boundary layer equations does not involve the line of zero surface friction. The low under consideration is separationless, which is in complete agreement with the available experimental data.
