Zusammenfassung: | Improving the efficiency of rail operation at the same time as increasing its service life in the difficult conditions of the Eastern railways range, primarily on the Trans-Baikal and East Siberian railways, is a priority task of increase of track capacity. These roads are the first objects for put the rails of all new categories of special purpose – low-temperature reliability, increased wear resistance and contact fatigue life (DT350NN, DT370IK, DT400IK).
To assess the efficiency of operation of special-purpose rails DT370IK, DT400IK in comparison with different heat treated general-purpose rails DT350, monitoring of control sections was organized. The rails were put in track welded by alternating two categories DT350 and DT400IK and separately in the curves of similar radii, where the rails were DT370IK. The intensity of contact-fatigue defects of rails along internal strings in curves is estimated and the main dependences of their formation are formulated. |
