Zusammenfassung: | This research aims to design and fabrication a temperature-humidity monitoring system in cabinet dryer, using DHT 22 sensor. This monitoring system is designed to be accessible by android applications so that drying parameters can be monitored anytime and anywhere. The research method used was the design of hardware and software. Based on the test and the results of the DHT22 sensor readings compared with standard measuring instruments (PT100 type thermocouple), the error value is 0.5 and the deviation is 0.0. The repeatability test results show that the average temperature taken every 30 minutes 10 times is 55.79 (°C) with a deviation of 0.07 (°C). A small error value is indicating that the sensor has high accuracy and a small deviation value indicates that the sensor has a high level of precision. The water content of the tested product (cassava slices) changed from 68.92% to 15% during 7 hours of drying. The measurement result parameter data has been able to be displayed properly on Android devices via the internet network. |
