Zusammenfassung:Wang, Y.; Cao, Y., and Li, W., 2020. Legal regulation of pollution from marine vessels in China: Management from the perspective of seafarers. In: Wan, Z. (ed.), Coordinated Sustainable Development in Coastal Areas: Environment and Economy. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 109, pp. 65–72. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208. The interviewees in this survey include full-time seafarers which are the main objectives. First of all, we found that the longer the voyage lasted, the more the crew had a deeper understanding of environmental pollution. With the improvement of income level, the evaluation standard for water quality of crew shed weight became higher. In this survey, the environmental performance of young seafarers is obviously low. In addition, the frequency of ship pollution in the transfer of pollutants and port docking is particularly prominent, which is rarely paid attention to in the past literature. Based On the findings of this paper, we believe that pollution prevention education, marine legal construction and multilevel supervision and on-site Law enforcement supervision are effective countermeasures to improve marine pollution prevention and control. In addition, this paper also believes that it is more appropriate for the government and enterprises to jointly undertake the funding for the technical upgrading of anti-pollution equipment on ships.
