Zusammenfassung: | The bayonet chamber process is accompanied by severe transient elastic-plastic deformation. Meanwhile, the shape of the rotating band is complex. The Finite Element Method (FEM) suffers from mesh distortion when numerical calculating such cases. In this paper, the projectile and rotating band are discretized by material points while the barrel is discretized by finite elements. The node-surface contact algorithm is applied to describe the interaction of the parts. The Coupled Finite Element Material Point Method (CFEMP) model of the projectile band bayonet-chamber process is established. The resistance acting on the rotating band and the velocity of the projectile are obtained. The results can provide a reference for the projectile conveying design and the determination of bayonet-chamber velocity. |
