Zusammenfassung: | The Taguchi method was applied in this study to optimize the process parameters involved in achieving a composite of Al 4032 reinforced with 5% SiC. The input parameters are speed, depth of cut, and feed rate having four levels. The material removal rate was considered based on the optimization process. The material removal rate upsurges with an escalation in feed rate and gets more increment during the initial factors of speed and depth of cut. The cutting speed of 1200 rev/min, the feed rate of 52 mm/min, and the depth of cut of 0.5 mm were found to be the best input parameters for MRR. |
