Zusammenfassung: | The demand for energy and energy storage is increasing rapidly. The population of our world is increasing and soon the available nonrenewable resources will be exhausted and the next generation will be left out with nothing. A rapid shift to renewable energy and effective energy storage is becoming mandatory for the survival of mankind. In this paper I will be discussing about some effective energy storage techniques. I will be focusing on three main energy storage techniques, that is, MES, TES and EES. Under MES there are FES, CAES and PHES. SHES, LHES and TCES come under TES and finally under the EES there goes BES (which comprise of lead acid, sodium Sulphur, lithium ion, nickel battery and metal air battery), RFBES and SMES. The short forms are explained in the table. |
