Zusammenfassung: | Freedom of expression on social media in Indonesia has been regulated by the Law Number 11 of 2008 and was last amended by Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning the Law on Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE law). The existence of the ITE law as a mandate of Article 28E Paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution. However, the implementation of the ITE law often causes the people to be criminalized for hate specch. This study aims to propose a tool to detect hate specch before people express their opinions on the internet to minimize violations of the ITE Law. This article demonstrates the e-hights by explaining the user interface, procedures, and methods of e-hights. E-hights (Electronic Human Rights) is a website-based application to reconcile the realization of freedom of expression, which presents a novelty with a keyword filter feature to detect hate specch and correct words to express opinions, thus criminalizing public opinion through the internet can anticipated. |
