Zusammenfassung:Slop piping system has a function as a diesel fuel storage. It's connected to the depressurization system and the main pipeline. The system will operate automatically if there is a shortage of diesel fuel supply in the main pipeline. Stress in the system will be influenced by temperature and pressure. In the design stage, we have to make sure that the system stress is safe for mass production stage. Stress analysis tools that used in this paper is Caesar II. The purpose of stress analysis in the slop piping system is to minimize failure. From stress analysis simulation, shown that the maximum stress due to the sustain load is 804.5kg/cm2 and the allowable stress is 1124.8kg/cm2. The maximum stress caused by the expansion load at node 10 is 488.9 kg/cm2 (Caesar II) and the allowable stress is 2695 kg/cm2. Base on ASME B31.3, The maximum stress value in the slop piping system is less than the allowable stress value. The conclusion, slop pipe system is safe to use for mass production.
